Blyk started business



One interesting fact from outside of Korea: Yesterday the highly anticipated Blyk service has commenced service. It is a fully integrated invitation only MVNO offering a package of free minutes and SMS to a target group of 16-24 year-olds. This package is funded by targeted advertisements which will be send by partners of Blyk, one of them is the world famous cosmetics producer L’Oreal. In our point of view it is a very interesting and innovative approach, which could be even more promising in the Korean market, where mobile usage of young people is even more intensive than in Europe, especially concerning data related services.
